Hey netters!
I've got a simple sequencer program I've written for an MPU-401
compatible board, but now I have a problem: How to store the notes
I've recorded to a standard midi disk file so I can save them for
playing later.
The goal is to have my sequencer, as well as other MIDI programs,
be able to read the MIDI data back in and play it.
I have a document that describes the protocol for standard
MIDI files, but I was wondering if anyone has seen some basic
utility functions somewhere that handle the creating/formatting/
storing/retrieving of midi data to/from midi files.
Surely, others have built these functions already, so I'd
rather pay for them than spend time doing it myself!
All help will be appreciated, I'll summarize if there's any
interest.
