[comp.music] MT-32 Patch Librarian Shareware or ...

grasmann@atps.dec.com (Aspirations of a higher nature) (01/18/90)

Hi -

I'm new to this newsgroup, and computer music in general.

I have a PC 386 with an MPU-401 + MT-32 synthesizer. I know there are a lot of
commercial packages out there, but all of them are outside of my budget right
now, after buying the above-mentioned setup.

I am looking for a PATCH LIBRARIAN for the MT-32, preferably with "C" source
code available, to help me decypher the Roland MIDI Implementation manual, as
well as edit/create my own sounds for my sequencer.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Steve Grasmann	grasmann@atps.dec.com

I am interested in obtaining the "Glib" posting. However, if it is going to be
2 months before it's available, I'll probably have my own finished by then.
