Aloha! I've got a Macintosh IIcx with 5 Megs of Memory, plus a Casio CZ-101 keyboard and a Yamaha RX-11 drum synthesizer. From someone more knowledgeable, I would like to get some opinions on what MIDI Interface I should buy and what MIDI software is the best. I'd like to emphasize composing and sequencing and perhaps some patch librarian features. I'd like to have a graphical user interface where I can cut and paste notes on the screen on the staff and then click to have it play on the synths. I want to be able to multitrack, store, and replay songs with synth and drum parts. (pretty simple stuff) I don't know if it's possible, but it'd be nice to change the voicings on the fly on the synth. And lastly a nice patch editor/librarian for the CZ-101 which runs on the Mac. In short: (1) Which MIDI Interface should I buy for the Mac? (2) Which Mac software is the best for composing? sequencing? (3) Is there a little CZ patch editor available somewhere? adva- Thanks for your ideas and suggestions -nce
