A Question for Computer music applications (eg. sequencing, sampling, disk recording): I need feedback from musicians who use these computers with their music for determining the pros and cons (price/performance) of one computer over another for (1) sample editing, (2) sequencing (I suppose any would do this nicely) (3) direct to hard-disk recording. I believe Mac is the choice of Pros (but the most expensive); are the ATARIs most cost effective? where would you buy one (in New England)? What do you use? WHY? Any information on reliability, software (shareware) avaiability would be a great help. Thanks in advanced. Dan

Well, if you buy an Atari ST, and PC Ditio II and the Enhancement Software for the Ditio II, you can run both St and PC midi ware no problem... (the Enhancement SW even allows EGA mode!) I doubt the Mac midi software will ever work on a ST tho, So I suppose it just depends what you want to spend...
