today i saw a roland u20 keyboard and i got really interested in perhaps purchasing one and doing some programming with midi interfaces. does anyone know if the roland u20 is a good keyboard or not? also there was a roland midi interface unit for the ibm pc there, is this any good? what kind of software is available currently that drives midi keyboards? i would really appreciate it if someone could give me some info on what a good keyboard to buy would be and the price range. i'm really interested in getting into midi but i need the experts help. simon

The Roland MIDI interface (MPU-401) is the standard for IBM-PCs. I have a clone - the MusicQuest MQX PC/MIDI card. Works just fine for about $100. - Carl
