A friend is considering getting a computer with one of the primary functions being outputting printed music from MIDI input (choral, vocal, piano, organ). We have 2 questions at this point. 1) What magazine(s) would be best for information on this subject (I should add that my friend is a novice)? 2) What software (and platform) do net.users have experience with and would recommend?
