Sorry, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I just recently gained access to the networks. I have a clone 386sx and am interested in midi interfaces. My wife and I both play keyboards, although we dont currently own a synth. I am looking for suggestions on intro level midi and synths that would allow us to experiment with this technology. Thanks

Its nice to know that some one else has an interest about music and technology. If you are looking at getting into synthisized music have you thought about the computer for this role. I have an Amiga 500 with 1 meg onboard we use this all the time in music production an for composing music, with a Midi interface connected to the Digital piano. The best thing about the computer when used as a synth. is that it can show graphically the different wave patterns. The last sound I created using the SONIX program was a Digerido (I think thats how you spell it) any way it is great to experiment and then play it back with fantastic results. This is worth a thought before you spend all your money on a dedicated system.
