I understand that the serial ports on the fx are different from all earlier Macs. Thus: - Is there a low level driver that does the same job as the old shareware ones (basically a byte-by-byte driver that directly out/inputs the midi bytes after setting up the port correctly. - Anything *really* smart that manages to emulate the old way so even commercial programs will run (those who do not use the Apple Midi manager which is Apples way of "solving" the problem). - Any other good tips or gadgets (midgets ;-))?
