The only Signalman I have (or ever hope to have) touched was a 300 baud job that sold for about $89. Its performance was so erratic that I went nuts trying to adapt a working communications program to compensate for the fact that the RS232 DCE to DTE signals bounced up & down a seemingly random number of times when the thing was switched into data mode. They may have gotten their act together in the last year, but I'm always sceptical of equipment that sells at a price considerably below average; If one manufacturer can do it, so can the rest. Chip
