The word from A-R Editions is that their SUN based system is not for sale,
was developed in house, and would cost plenty if available on the market.
As to features, who knows.?

That's funny, they seem to have changed their minds, then, since
back in June they were interested in selling it, but said "if
you're not a university, you probably can't afford it."

I have seen it *briefly* in operation, and I'm familiar with the
output, and it does look good.

I suspect they realized that so many people were interested in a
Sun-based system that it might threaten their contract typsetting
business.
