[comp.music] A question about CSound, please HELP

I have an interest in music and I am looking for software related to music.
I have red a lot about the program CSound and have a question :
- Is CSound public domain e.g. is there source code of the program ?
- If the sources are somewhere, where are they ?
- Can I get the sources through FTP ?
