YOU MIGHT TRY CONTACTING INTEL TO SEE WHAT THEY MAY HAVE. IN TODAY'S WALL STREET JOURNAL (2/8/84, P.12), THEY HAD AN AD FOR A SYSTEM THEY WORKED ON FOR DAIRY CATTLE MANAGEMENT. IT INVOLVED A SPECIAL MICROCHIP THE COW WOULD WEAR ON HER COLLAR (SON OF BUFFALO CHIP?). PERHAPS THAT'S WHY THERE'S A SHORTAGE OF CHIPS FOR THE IBM PC. EARLE.

One of the largest vendors of farm related software is, believe it or not, Radio Shack. Just drop by one of their computer centers for a listing of their product line. I don't know anything else about this; just the simple fact. Joseph L. Wood, III AT&T Information Systems Laboratories, Holmdel (201) 834-3759 ariel!jlw
