A few years ago I heard a radio station playing a recording of a symphony orchestra playing a Yes song! (Or maybe Yes plays rock versions of Classical pieces) Does anyone know if Yes songs are really take-offs of old classical pieces? Does anyone know of any symphony orchestras that have recorded Yes music?

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised at what you heard. In fact, I bought a tape a while back that shocked me at the time, but now I know it is relatively common. The tape was entitled: The London Symphony Orchestra Plays the Music of Genesis. And they were right, too - they played hits ranging from 1974-1980 ... and pretty good, too. I've heard of them making tapes like this for other popular bands, too..... -- INTERNET: ragnarok@buhub.bradley.edu OR ragnarok@bucs1.bradley.edu OR aamlath@heartland.bradley.edu OR af547@cleveland.freenet.edu "GEE, WHAT A CHOICE!"
