Could someone please EMAIL me where I might find an electric violin. Please note that I am not interested in an acoustic violin which has a pick-up that has been placed on it (e.g. microphone, etc.) I want a true electric violin which has built-in audio out like the modern electric guitars which we are all so accustomed to seeing. Also, if this thing even exists, let me know where I might find a violin that has built-in M.I.D.I. (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). Please note that I am not interested in a violin which has a pitch to M.I.D.I. converter along side of it. I am looking for a true M.I.D.I. instrument which has at the very least M.I.D.I. out. I am interested in any information concerning the what is listed above. Brands (Manufacturer), retail outlets which carry them, etc. Please EMAIL me any information which you can provide. Thanks in advance. Roger Medlin

The violin you are looking for is made by ZETA. It is a MIDI controller and from your request, fits your needs. You may want to call Gerson at Medley Music 215-527-30 for all the particulars. I'm sure he has them in stock.
