The 1991 International Computer Music Conference will be held at McGill University in Montreal Oct. 16-20. The Submission Procedures are as follows: Music Submissions must include a $20CDN ($15US) submission fee which will be refunded in full to all active CMA members on site. Abstracts from any field of computer applications in music and audio will be considered. Authors may indicate that the paper is intended for a Long Paper (up to 8 double-column pages, 30 minute presentation time) or a Regular Paper (up to 4 double-column pages, 20 minute presentation time). The number of Long Papers accepted will be limited. The Papers Selection committee reserves the right to request that Long Papers be reduced to Regular Papers. All accepted papers will be published before the conference in the Proceedings of the 1991 International Computer Music Conference and must be received in "camera ready" format by July 30, 1991. Submission details will be sent with acceptance notices. A limited amount of space is available for the demonstration of non-commercial systems, methodologies, new technologies. Demonstrations will be reviewed and accepted based on the same criteria as the Paper Abstracts. Only tables, chairs, and electrical outlets will be provided in the demonstration area. Demonstrators must bring all other materials. All submissions (except music, obviously) may be made by email to ICMC@MCO.LAN.MCGILL.CA Please address all queries to that address as well (NOT TO ME). The deadline was MARCH 30, 1991, but has been extended. I don't know what the new deadline is.
