[comp.music] Where's the software?

pirk@dev0d.mdcbbs.com (05/09/91)

Gang....

I recently called Twelve Tone Systems (Cakewalk sequencing software),
and inquired about their New music printing program that was advertised in a
Product lit. guide that came with my Cakewalk 4.0 software. The price of the
"Availiable early 1991" software was to be around $99.95. I was informed that
the product development was "currently on hold". If it gets produced, it
sounds like it will be a great package. Has anyone out there heard anything
similar or to the contrary? Any alternatives to suggest? Needs to be for an
IBM platform....

Steve

Hi Steve, I'm mulling over the idea of a PC for MIDI work. How is Cakewalk? Do
you have C/Pro? How do you think it compares with Mac software? Id a PC a good
MIDI machine?
