Thanks to so many of you for sending suggestions about choosing the right computer platform for MIDI work. Your ideas are very helpful. My own feeling at the moment is that MacII is state of the art, Atari is not far behind and has the twin advantages of lower cost and some compatability with MS-DOS. Now, what about IBM clone? Several people have suggested this as a platform. But is the PC a SERIOUS (ie professional) platform or is it more for hobbyists? I have produced and have sold several thousand copies of two cassettes of New Age music and intend to do more for fun and profit if not fame! I have good MIDI gear; now I want an excellent computer platform> What it comes down toI suppose is this: IS THE SEQUENCING AND OTHER MUSIC SOFTWARE FOR THE PC AS GOOD AS THAT FOR THE MAC AND ATARI? DO YOU EXPECT PC MIDI SOFTWARE TO CONTINUE TO KEEP UP WITH OTHER PLATFORMS? Any and all answers will be avidly and gratfully received by Paul
