[comp.music] ICMC 1991 Car-Pool from Chicagoland -- need a ride?

davisonj@pa881a.inland.com ("JOHN DAVISON") (05/21/91)

This letter is directed to all of those individuals in the
Chicagoland (Illinois, Indiana) area who are planning to go to the
1991 International Computer Music Conference (ICMC-91) and would like
to save money by car-pooling instead of flying there. I am willing to
take my car and split transportation costs with everyone in the car.

The Lake County Public Library tells me that it is 805 miles
from Gary, Indiana to Montreal. This means that the car ride would
last at least 14 hours -- probably 17 or 18 hours including food and
potty stops. The car will be a (solid) 1982 Buick Skylark, which can
hold five persons, assuming that none of the persons are taking along
exhibit materials.

Please send questions, suggestions, commentaries, etc. to
davisonj@ecn.purdue.edu. Please send your reply soon (preferably
before the end of the week of May 19-25).
