** What: "Deluge," a collaborative composition of electronic music and visual performance. This piece was composed during the last five weeks by a crazy combination of 12 UCD undergrad & grad students of varying insanity: musicians, dramatic artists, artists, and engineers. Deluge will be presented in "sexaphonic" (catchy name for six speakers, eh?) surround sound. ** When: Sunday, June 9, 1991, 8 PM. ** Where: Main Theatre, University of California, Davis. ** What to Expect: Anything. Rampant weirdness (example: rain made from 420,000 typewriter sounds). This is a low-key affair; it's not particularly polished, but a lot of creativity and time has gone into it. It should be a lot of fun! Admission is FREE (you think we could *charge* for this stuff?) Directions to UCD Main Theatre: From the Bay Area: Take I-80 west to Davis. Get off at the UC Davis exit. Turn left onto old Davis Road. As you drive onto campus, you'll pass an information kiosk with a map. Look at the map: it has the location of the Main Theatre on it.
