"Cyberia," the first cyberpunk-influenced television program on a national network, is seeking both short-form music video and video from live performances to program for it's upcoming season. "Cyberia" features computer animations and music videos of electronic musicians, and it's goal is to demonstrate how the computer is being used as an artistic tool. U*NET is non-profit satellite television network linking hundreds of colleges across the United States, and it features a diversity of student-produced programs. Programs are downlinked by the individual college television stations and broadcast to the school and its surrounding community. The network has a combined potential television audience of 7 million viewers. U*NET is located at Brown University and is supported from grants by CBS, Time-Warner, HBO, TBS, and other major cable networks. We are primarily seeking works from students or faculty. This past season featured music video from Rob Camp, Downtown Science, Brian Evans, Information Society, Tod Machover, Todd Rundgren, Carl Stone, and Totentanz. If you have some material that you would like to submit, please send a description of your works. ---------------------------------------------------------------- | "C Y B E R I A" | | Experience Reality in a Virtual World | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |Robert Campanell |Explicit Multimedia | |Producer, "Cyberia" |2020 Pennsylvania Ave. NW | |George Washington University |Suite 430 | |USENET: robcamp@well.sf.ca.us |Washington, DC 20006 | ----------------------------------------------------------------
