[net.micro] a small glowing ember...

I recently received a small note complaining that all I ever do is
ask for help from this (and other) lists without contributing
anything and will I please just stay quiet for awhile...

*****FLAME MOST DEFINITELY ON (well sort of...)

FOLKS,
I (AND, I PERSONALLY KNOW, MANY OTHERS) TEND TO RESPOND DIRECTLY TO
PEOPLE WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS, IDEAS, HELP, GARBAGE I THINK I CAN
SUPPLY THEM. ONLY WHEN I (in a very humble way) THINK THAT I'VE GOT
SOME INFO OF V-E-R-Y G-E-N-E-R-A-L U-S-E DO I RESPOND TO THE WHOLE
LIST (whichever list it may be). PLEASE PARDON MY BRAZENNESS BUT
I FULLY INTEND TO KEEP ON USING THESE HUGE KNOWLEDGE BASES AS I HAVE
IN THE PAST. IF YA DON'T LIKE IT, TOUGH PATOOTIES!

*****FLAME OFF (whew!) dying down to a small...

Thank you for your patience,

Russ <Smith@nrl-aic>

P.S.
Hasn't this sort of %$@#& happened before. Feelings of deja
vu...(pardon the lack of accents).

It's simple enough: These lists are for whatever their users
wish! No authority exists for one person to determine what
another should or should not ask or send! Each of us has the
right, of course, to quit reading.

This sure beats lists where noone asks or says anything.
You need apologize for nothing.
