I am currently writing a freeware/shareware composing program for Modplay. In fact, it's already functioning, but needs some additional refinement (email me if you want a copy as soon as it's ready). My program (Modedit) allows you to write your own 4-track digitized MODfiles, which can be saved and played back with Modplay in full 4-track digitized audio with no additional hardware. Modedit is fully functional, as is Mark J. Cox's Modplay program.
