[comp.music] looking for information on electronic music job opportunities

I would like any information anyone might have on getting a job in
electronic music.  I'm interested in the following areas:

* music composition software
* MIDI-compatible electronic instruments 
* design of audio components, such as speakers, mixers, etc. 
* audio engineering

I'd be particularly interested in knowing if companies like Roland, Yamaha,
etc. are hiring, and if so, what job qualifications are necessary.

I have some background in signal processing and audio electronics.  I have
not touched it in about 9 years, unfortunately.  I'd be willing to study it
again in order to get a job.
