Re Alves's list of computer music languages: There was also an Algol based language MUSIGOL fashioned after the Bell Labs MUSIC I-V programs. It was created by Donald McInnis, Paul S. Davis and William A. Wulf in 1966 at the Univ of Virginia. MUSIGOL ran on a Burroughs B5500 and used an Adage Ambilog 200 as a DAC. --- John (chalmers@violet.berkeley.edu)
