As part of SRI International, the NIC is officially closed for business from Christmas day until 4 January 1988. I'm sending this as a reminder to any of you who are thinking about, or are in the process of, registering domains with Hostmaster. Mail to Hostmaster will not be answered during that time. The NIC computer facility will continue operations during the holiday closing, however, providing ongoing system coverage for the SRI-NIC.ARPA host. This includes maintenance of the Namedroppers distribution list. - Mary Stahl / NIC -------
