[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.domains] Class for DECnet information

tengi@princeton.edu (Christopher Tengi) (10/31/90)

Is there such a thing as a class for DECnet, such as DN? I wanted to add
support to my local nameserver (bind) for all of the DECnet hosts on campus
that are not running IP. I expect that things like HINFO, UINFO and MX could
still go under the IN class. Is this a good/bad thing? Does anybody have any
suggestions as to the *right* way to get DECnet addresses in the DNS?

					Thanks,
						/Chris
