[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.domains] Question about DNS implementations other than BIND

sra@LCS.MIT.EDU (Rob Austein) (05/01/91)

The source code for my TOPS-20 DNS resolver (CHIVES) is available via
anonymous FTP from WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL in the directory tree rooted
at PS:<CHIVES>. The people at SIMTEL20 also have the sources to the
nameserver we ran at MIT (Paul Mockapetris's JEEVES, subsequently
hacked by several other people, including me), but I don't know
whether the JEEVES sources are online or where they are if so.
