Greetings, Does anybody know what happened to Software Tool&Die? I get a non-authoritative resolution of [192.74.137.5] using nslookup, and traceroute terminates at Urbana_Champaign.IL.NSS.NSF.NET. When I try and get any kind of connection to it, I get back a "network unreachable" error. Software Tool & Die is currently only on Alternet and lacks NSFnet Permission To Connect via the NSFnet backbone. Sometime soon the links implementing the CIX agreement should materialise, and then ST&D will be reachable from the various alternate network service providers (e.g. Alternet, PSInet) and any regional networks that they connect to (e.g. NEARnet). -- Geoff Collyer world.std.com!geoff, uunet.uu.net!geoff
