There is a program from ZDS that allows you to use the so-called 'COM3' port as an additional serial port. I originally found this on an Air Force BBS and it had some problems which I have since found fixes for. Until the fix, the program was virtually useless since it could only be used to make the Z-404 Multi-I/O serial port look like COM1, thereby making the original COM1 port useless. This is no longer the case, the program will setup either a COM2 or COM3 port that is accessible at the BIOS level. I have also added some much needed documentation to it and stuffed all of this into one ARC file. If anyone would like a copy, let me know. If there is enough interest, I will check into the possibility of throwing the thing onto SIMTEL20 and maybe putting a copy back onto the Air Force's Dial-A-Log BBS.
