I have been cut off from the net for a while so I havn't been able to
pursue this problem.
I posted a question about using a Z-183 with an external keyboard about
a month ago. Thanx to all that responded. However I do know about the
XT - AT switch under the ZDS logo on the 101 keyboards which was the most
common suggestion. The ROM BIOS version of this particular 183 is 2.9D.
What I am wondering is if a BIOS upgrade will do the trick for me. Or is
there a keyboard controller upgrade possibly?
Any help will be appreciated. Even though we are a ZDS service center
I can't get anywhere with ZDS. My calls to the Customer Response Center
so-called 'hotline' have produced no information. The tech I talked to
there claimed it could not be done. I however have E-mail from many folks
who say they are, even as we speak, typing away on their Z-183's with full-
sized keyboards.
So I know it can be done. Again - any and all help will be appreciated.
