[comp.sys.zenith] Addressing Graphics Pixels in Software

borne@stsci.EDU (Kirk D. Borne) (09/22/90)

I have had a nagging question for a long time about my Z-100. Perhaps
someone out there could help me out.

How does one activate individual pixels in the Z-100 graphics plane,
and how does one choose the pixel color, in software?
Of course, one could do it with the compiled commands in Z-BASIC,
but I really want to do it directly in my own non-BASIC (i.e., fast!!)
code. Any leads towards solving this problem would be most appreciated.

A ton of Z-100 related programs and info is on WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL in the
PD3:<HZ100> directory accessable by anonymous ftp. There is a newletter that
addresses the Z-100 pixel question in Z100NEWS.ARC and lots of code elsewhere
such as in DJGRAFX.ARC. INFO-HZ100 supports these and other items of Z-100
interest, contact INFO-HZ100-REQUEST@TOPS20.RADC.AF.MIL

Cheers,
