Speaking of VGA displays, The display on my Supersport 286e has a particular weakness, when compared to a supersport sx, a compaq slt, or a TI 2000, which can be described as a lack of power to maintain contrast. For example, when a white square is displayed on a dark background, the area above and below the square gets lighter than the rest of the background. When text is displayed, there is vertical streaking proportional to the number of inverted pixels in a column. Is there anybody else out there with Zenith Supersport 286e's? Please email me whether you have or don't have this problem, so I know if it can be fixed.
