I would like to add a 40Mb hard disk to my Z386/20. Does anyone
have any experience with adding such a disk? Model numbers and
controller settings(?) would be very useful. What are the crucial
parameters to specify when buying an add on disk? (I have already
paid someone $55 to fail to add a very old miniscribe to the machine!).
What are the correct device drivers to run if one wants to run
windows? Should one run any other caching utility beside smartdrv?
At present the machine runs himem.sys. How do I use the 64K that
this liberates? By the way I have RTFM'd, I know what all the
device drivers do ... but not which combination is allowed/best.
