If anyone has increased the memory on a Zenith LP286 (small footprint AT clone) I would appreciate some tips. The machine currently has 640k + 256k(extended). Does the motherboard have space for more extended or expanded memory, and if so, how much and what type (Mbit sipps or sims)? Do motherboard jumpers need to be changed when memory is added to this machine? Unfortunately the machine is being used by a friend at a remote location, so I can't just pop open the box to take a look. thanks for any help, Roger Ove ove@rigel.astro.uiuc.edu

Our Zenith 286LP have 640 + 256 EMS (3) and cannot be configure for 256 extended? Is there a way, or did you a typo? By the way, how can that 256K be utilized these days? Are there memory managers that can use it? - Gary Chapman, NYU
