My question was... can I simply replace the i286 chip with a 10 or 12 Mhz version? I know where I can get those chips for damn cheap prices and it'd be the easiest way I know to get the speed up to reasonable levels. Does anybody know or have a friend who would know whether this is feasible? Any input is appreciated.
