Hello: I know I saw this posted a few months ago, but at the time I didn't think too much of it as it hadn't occurred to me. Well, now I am falling victim to the problem. :-( Somebody out there knew what caused the Zenith monitors to start into wave-mode whereby everything seems to turn to crap and have a view resembling the snow on TV's high channels. I have a Z-286 with a ZVM-1380 monitor and periodically I get this problem. For a while I would just get a period scrolling vertically down the screen, but know I get a wave effect and I cannot do anything. Any ideas as to if this is a monitor problem or is it in the box itself? I seem to think it's in the 286 sometimes as it often doesn't help to turn the monitor off-and-on again, but then every now and then it works. Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh, I am no Electrical Engineer at all, but I would like to know what you think is the problem for maintenance/repair concerns. Thanks for your time. -Todd __ __ __ Ham, Todd Edward / \/ \/ \ Georgia Tech: | | Undefeated Georgia Tech - ICS '93 \_//\\//\\_/ Home of the 1996 |___| 11-0-1 UPI's gt0677b@prism.gatech.edu \__/\__/ Summer Olympic Games | Number 1!

We have one of the 286's with a wavy screen also. I've gotten no help from Zenith or local auth. repair. Dan
