The 3rd paragraph will explain why I'm posting this here. I have checked with Microsoft, Zenith, and cica, the Zenith newsgroup, and FAQ, so I believe that I've done my homework. I need a driver for Zenith's oddball 640x480 "vga-type" mode (256K, card may be called a z449). It uses the Chips & Tech chipset 82C434. The windows driver for the 82C441 (and several on cica) almost work, but the screen gets garbled (the title screen is ok, all screens are readable, maybe because only 256K?). Windows 2 from Zenith included a special driver, but Zenith did not update to Win 3 (according to Zenith tech support). I've seen other questions on the news about this driver, and I've sent some requests, but no help. Obviously, I would be foolish to spend too much time/money on this since VGA cards are relatively cheap. Here's my offer: If it is a trivial matter to compile the driver in the developer's kit for my card, I'll gladly pay $30 for a working driver. I extend this offer to anyone who can direct me to an existing driver.
