I just read about a module available from Technical Specialists, Inc. vcalled the SXZ-248 that can upgrade a Z248 to a 20 MHz 386SX for $699. The article sounded like they were referring to the original Z248s. Does anyone know if this upgrade works on a Z248/12? Is anyone in a position to compare it to the AOX upgrade, which is about $200 more, I believe? This is getting almost reasonable in price, and if it works for the Z248/12s, I may finally get interested. Any comments? -- "Moby" Dick O'Connor djo7613@u.washington.edu Washington Department of Fisheries *I brake for salmonids*

If so, make sure it fits your socket, either PLCC type or PGA type. Your best bet is to make sure they have a money back policy if your not satisfied so that if you try it and it doesnt work or is slow as a dog you can send it back. >"Moby" Dick O'Connor djo7613@u.washington.edu Jeff Easton Zenith Data Systems // Systems Engineer \X/ easton%zds-oem@caspian.cs.andrews.edu easton@andrews.edu What?
