Hi! I have a Supersport 286E laptop with 1 meg of memory (no memory expansion), and am having trouble getting software to recognize the memory beyond 640K. I can configure the remaining memory as EMS using the BIOS setup with no problem, but setup won't allow me to configure it as extended memory. Certain programs (namely Mark Williams' Coherent) will only recognize extended memory, and not expanded memory. So, my question is, is there any way at all that I can configure my remaining memory as extended? It's REALLY frustrating having a meg of RAM and only getting 455K under Coherent. Thanks! -Matt -- Matt Kimmel University of Massachusetts Amherst, Mass. Internet: kimmel@umvlsi.ecs.umass.edu Bitnet: KIMMEL@UMAECS
