We are MATHEMATICS and NATURAL SCIENCE faculty in a community (junior) college
here in St. Petersburg, Florida looking for information on any use of
CD-ROMS or VIDEODISKS in Natural Science or Mathematics. We would APPRECIATE
any advice, experiences, recommendations, etc. you would take the time to
write.

We are in the process of a major renovation of our Natural Science building.
We are also receiving several MACINTOSH computers with CD-ROM players
and VIDEODISK devices. This is new technology for most of us and would
like to hear from anyone as to RECOMMENDED disks of either type and in
what discipline of Natural Science (Math, Zoo, Bio, Anat, etc.).

IN PARTICULAR does anyone have any experiences with a CD-ROM by EDUCORP
that is supposed to contain much software ?? It is offered in their
current catalog for $199.00, which is not much for that much software,
clip-art, etc.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR RESPONDING.

If responses warrant it, I will summarize and post.

PLEASE EMAIL to me as our hard drives are small and they PURGE them of
all 'news' every day or so. The EMAIL stays until it is read.

	Thanks again.

Please post whatever info you get. I'm working on a cd-rom project in
February and I've been wondering the same thoughts. I think there are
a lot of people with the same needs out here.

Thanks
