Hello net! I hope SOMEONE can help me here. I posted this a little while ago, but the complete lack of ANY response made me curious. No one out there wants a computer-controlled CD-Audio player??? Strange. No one is making one???! Even stranger! I need some leads to a company and/or solution to this problem: I need to find a computer-controlled (through a standard RS-232 protocol interface) CD-audio player for a project I am working on. It doesn't have to be a CD-ROM player, but that would be OK. I need to be able to control the player in the same way as the controls do on the player itself as well as being able to position the laser pickup anywhere on the disc. It than will simply play the audio after positioning. That's it. Simple, right? Can anyone help? Please e-mail or write. Thanks in advance, Alan -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Mail: Alan I.
