[net.micro] De-bugging aids for the C64

PHORWITZ%bbng@sri-unix.UUCP (02/27/84)

Does anyone out there know anything about a debugger called
"BugByter" that supposedly runs on the 6502? Is there a
Commodore (i.e. 6510) version out? How good is it? I am
currently writing a real-time graphics program in FORTH,
substantial parts of which have to be in assembler for reasons of
speed. (Ever try to update positions of sprites using Newton's
Laws every 60th of a second?) The assembler that comes with the
FORTH system I am using is pretty weak and does not include a
monitor; the debugging facilities are practically non-existant.
