I am new to this realm and would like some feedback from all those who have purchased Videodisk Players. I went to my local hifi store a month ago and was blown away by their surround sound setup which included a videodisk player. Over here in Australia videodisks have not become popular, and it is very hard to find information concerning them so I am resorting to USENET for some help. The videodisk player I saw at the hifi store was a Pioneer system which played audio disks also. It is this dual format capability that attracts me most to the Pioneer Videodisk player. Can someone tell me of the Videodisk players they know or have bought and what they think of them. I am primarily interested in a dual format player like the Pioneer system.
