The total budget for the project, including pressing the disk, was around $2,000 so we were forced to use equipment that the university already owned. Our Chemistry department had a number of InfoWindow systems that they would loan us, so that was the platform we opted for. IBM was very good in providing assistance in learning the system, since my only previous experience was on NCR InteracTV2 systems. Apple Computer has recently become interested in supporting our program so we created a Macintosh version running under Authorware. I don't have access to any Amiga hardware or we'd port it to that too. The committee of the state government that we applied for a grant with originally turned us down because they believed that no other schools in Ohio had the technology to display the program. We have a meeting with the committee Monday morning to demonstrate the project and present a list of the schools we have discovered thus far with IVD machines. If there are a significant number of Ohio schools with Amiga IVD machines and no IBM or Mac IVD systems then an Amiga port would climb way up on the TO DO list. Sorry for the long winded reply to a short question, but I'm really excited about this project and want to do everything I can to get it funded. What's NCR doing with their IVD products now ?
