Medicine) to work with a Hitachi VIP 9500. This is the second time this has been posted and several of you e-mailed me the specs for the cable. Some specs were different but I tried them all. Now I'm not new to rs-232 but not an expert either but I figured at least one of them would work. An interesting point is that the driver name for the hitachi is not shown in the window where it appears when any other player is selected. When tried with a pioneer LDV-6010A it works just fine(with the pioneer selected of course). I'm beginning to suspect the driver for the hitachi. My question boils down to this: Is anyone out there using a MacII with hyperbrain AND a HITACHI VIP 9500? If your answer is "yes" I would sure appreciate any sugestions.
