Since Version 8 of Icon was released, we've received several new and improved configurations for UNIX platforms. We do not plan to update the complete Version 8 distribution for Icon in the near future, but we've put an updated version of the configuration subdirectory on our FTP area. This update is available in cpio and tar format, and replaces the config/unix subdirectory in the original distribution. To get this update, do an anonymous FTP to cs.arizona.edu and cd /icon/v8. The files are named unixconf.cpi and unixconf.tar. If you have any questions, please send mail to me, not to icon-group.
