It is possible (not difficult) to make JES2 honor the SVC 34 protocol for commands from TSO and responses back to the TSO user. See Bar Ilan modification BJ001 on the JES2 mods tape. We should all lean on IBM (for example, through SHARE) to implement this functionality in JES2, to make this mod unnecessary. Leonard D.
