In my recent posting regarding news from the newly formed ANS REXX standards committee, I inadvertantly made reference to standards which might be published in 1982 or 1983. I hope it was obvious to all that this was a trivial typo, and that I meant 1992 or 1993. I suppose some of us would like to be able to go back in time and create a standard that we would have had in place for several years now. Unfortunately we have not figured out how to do that as of yet (or is it "fortunately..."). On the other hand, Mike's books have served us very well as an informal standard. We're starting our formal standards effort from a very sound foundation, without a whole lot of fragmentation in the existing implementations. Sorry for any confusion this typo might have caused anyone.
