I'm curious as to what platforms have Rexx implementations available? I have it for my amiga, I gather from postings to this newsgroup that a VMS version exists; what others? (My particular interest/need at the moment is for a SUN/UNIX version, but I never know what I'll need in the future.....) -- rick -- Dr. R. Chestek Advanced Decision Systems Scene Analysis Dept. On IBM mainframes, Rexx is available under VM/CMS (This was the first implementation I am aware of), and MVS/TSO. (nb: IBM thinks that TSO stands for "Time Sharing Option", but users know it as Terribly Slow Option, also Time Squandering Option. I have also heard it referred to as "TSslow".) There is an implementation for IBM PCs/Clones called "Personal Rexx" from Mansfield who also put out an Xedit clone called "Kedit" for the same platforms. You can write Kedit macros in Personal Rexx. Never tried it myself, but I have heard lots of good things about both of these products. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: The above writings are the ramblings of one human being and have nothing what-so-ever to do with Locus Computing Corp. ---> Rich Greenberg, richg@locus.com
