Great, the cable comes out of the front - and it even uses standard 4-wire modular jack connectors. Now, if they had only remembered to put the rest of the keys on the keyboard. Try looking for 'ESC', 'BREAK' or 'DEL'. If MacTerm works like LisaTerm, you'll at least be able to get at ESC and DEL by using CTRL-[ and CTRL-Backspace respectively. Probably BREAK will be possible too, but try to get used to using CTRL-[ in VI instead of ESC. With all the flaming about keyboards I've seen, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that Apple did the right thing and put their keyboard cable connector in the front of the machine instead of the back. Anyone ever seen a VT100 (rhetorical question)? -- Phil Ngai (408) 988-7777 {ucbvax,decwrl,ihnp4,allegra,intelca}!amd70!phil
